Is to create, offer and build opportunities for business leaders to engage with other like minded and principle centered people through non-competing peer advisory boards. And in doing so, we will have a profound impact on the four human dimensions of our members; to live, love, learn and to leave a legacy.
Long before Napoleon Hill wrote his famous book “Think and Grow Rich” which identified and documented the profound impact of the Mastermind Principle; it had already played a critical role in successes around the globe. For hundreds, if not thousands of years, the mastermind approach has been a proven format and is not bound by time, environment or condition.
Historically, mastermind participants read like a who’s who of entrepreneurial icons; Alexander Graham Bell, John D. Rockefeller, Charles M. Schwab, Henry Ford, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie and contemporaries like Richard Branson of Virgin fame have all been members of peer advisory boards, aka the “Mastermind”. Yet, it’s not for everyone. All too often executives and business owners become guarded; they feel they must carry the burden alone. Many feel they have all the input and feedback they need from their leadership team, employees and/or family members. These are well meaning but often bias positions. Not so with a good peer advisory board. The impact can be profound but to fully benefit one must be open, vulnerable, authentic and leave their ego at the door.
“The more extensive one’s knowledge of what has been done, the greater will be their power of knowing what to do.”
Benjamin Disraeli
